Restrict specific users to "Create and Post Only" for Journal Entries.
Overview
The EA-tech Custom Account Access module provides enhanced security and control over your accounting operations. It allows you to designate specific users who are permitted to Create and Post journal entries but are explicitly restricted from Editing existing details or Deleting entries. This ensures data integrity and prevents unauthorized modification of posted or drafted financial records.
Configuration
Enable the restriction easily via the User Settings form. A new option "Restrict Account Logic (Create & Post Only)" is available under the Access Rights tab.
Enhanced Security
When a restricted user attempts to edit a journal entry, they are immediately blocked and shown a clear warning message.
Workflow Protection
The module ensures that critical financial data remains immutable for operational staff, while still allowing them to perform their daily entry tasks efficiently.

Preamble
The GNU General Public License is a free, copyleft license for software and other kinds of works.
